The Curse of the Evil Genie

The space room is stated to be the hardest of the rooms but I went with my family last weekend (all adults) and we had a lot of fun with the challenge. It helps that we're all a bunch of nerds. :) Lucas was an entertaining host and made the whole experience a great one! We've now done 2 of the 4 rooms and will very likely be back to do the others soon!

We went as a team building event after work and had a blast. It is very easy to book and the adventure was a lot of fun. we did the easiest room (Zanzibar) and needed a few hints but it was great to be able to crack the clues and work as a team. We will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my experience at this spot. For my 4th escape experience yet, I finally got out due to our amazing game master Lucas. I appreciate the interactive screen the game master use to help us and the difficulty level was perfect. Highly recommend this spot for sure!

Love escape rooms and this one was a different experience for sure. The game master, Lucas was amazing. Filled with fun and was great at helping us with the normal level hints. He was enthusiastic and made sure we had a great experience. The hints were given to us in a different and efficient way. So it was fast and made sure we wasted none of our time. For sure I would recommend to other people.

I have been to a few escape rooms around Calgary and this is the best one by far. The puzzles were not linear so the group can split up to work on various puzzles. We were a group of 8 people and we did the lucky duck. It was a 4/5 difficulty and we escaped! Our game master Lucas made the experience that much more enjoyable. We chose the 'normal' level in regards to receiving hints. The monitor in the room was a nice touch. In other escape rooms you have to wait for some one to show up in order to get the hint but with the monitor it was instant. I also enjoyed the encouraging words along the way. Thank you Escape Hour for a great overall experience. I will definitely be coming back to do another room.

By far one of the best escape rooms I've ever done! There were tons of puzzles, multiple ways to solve them and lots of things to unlock. The staff is super great!!

This escape experience is entertaining, well run, friendly and immersive. There are plenty of puzzles and multiple ways to solve them. Staff are professional and helpful. Several levels of play for a range of difficulty even within each room.

We've done quite a few escape rooms in the past, but this is the first time trying Escape Hour...and it is the best of all of them in our experience. The addition of a game master who can participate through the in-room monitor is a great feature. Our particular game master, Laura, was awesome and really enhanced our experience, making it much more enjoyable; with just a small hint here or there, she pushed us in the right direction when we were off track and provided great feed back when we needed just a little help. We'll definitely be going back again!
